What are the minimum requirements of hardware to run Windows 11

To run Windows 11, your PC must meet the following minimum hardware requirements:

  1. Processor (CPU):
    • A 1 GHz or faster processor with 2 or more cores.
    • The processor must appear on Microsoft’s list of approved CPUs.
  2. Memory (RAM):
    • At least 4 GB of RAM.
  3. Storage:
    • 64 GB or larger storage device.
  4. System Firmware:
    • Your PC must support UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface).
    • It should also be Secure Boot capable.
  5. Trusted Platform Module (TPM):
    • Your PC must have TPM version 2.0.
    • If your device doesn’t meet this requirement, check if there are steps you can take to remediate it.
  6. Graphics Card (GPU):
    • Your graphics card should be compatible with DirectX 12 or later.
    • It should have a WDDM 2.0 driver.

Remember that these are the minimum requirements, and additional features or apps you add to your PC may require more robust hardware. If you’re unsure about your PC’s eligibility, you can use Microsoft’s PC Health Check app to determine if it’s ready for the upgrade
